Register to vote
Register online through the State of Florida. You'll need a Florida driver license or ID and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
Check your registration
Confirm you're registered, that your address is current, and that your signature on file is up to date. An outdated signature can get a mail ballot rejected.
Request a mail ballot
Vote-by-mail requests in Florida expire. If you voted by mail before, you likely need to request one again for this election.

Polls are open 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. If you are in line at 7:00 p.m., you may vote.
A runoff is a separate election with its own deadlines.

Vote by mail
- Request your ballot from the Supervisor of Elections.
- Fill it out as soon as it arrives — don't let it sit on the counter.
- Sign the envelope. Make sure your signature matches what's on file.
- Return it early, by mail or to a secure drop-off location.
Vote early
- Check the early voting sites and hours for Miami-Dade County.
- Pick a day and time and put it in your calendar now.
- Bring a valid photo and signature ID.
- Any early voting site in the county works — pick the convenient one.
Vote on Election Day
- Look up your assigned precinct — it may have changed.
- Polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3.
- Bring a valid photo and signature ID.
- If you're in line at 7:00 p.m., stay in line. You may vote.
